ST30 BizTex SMS Coverall Type 5/6

BizTex SMS - limited life clothing fabric

BizTex SMS

An integrated, three-layer polypropylene construction – Spunbond/Meltblown/Spunbond (SMS) – gives a breathable barrier.

This trilaminate constructed fabric offers a high tensile strength and toughness. It provides a fluid and particulate barrier to protect the worker without hindering mobility and comfort.

Garments constructed with this fabric are strong and durable, yet offer outstanding comfort, breathability, softness, and wearability.

ST40 – BizTex Microporous Disposable Coverall Type 6/5
ST40 – BizTex® Microporous Coverall Type 6/5

BizTex micro - limited life clothing fabric

BizTex Micro

This fabric consists of a polypropylene substrate to which a laminated microporous polyethlene film is applied (PP/PE).

The outer layer of fabric prevents the passage of liquid molecules inwards yet permits the vapour molecules that build up inside to pass out. This ensures that the fabric is breathable, allowing the user to stay fresh and comfortable.

This fabric has the added feature of having an anti-static coating that provides protection against electrostatic buildup.

ST80 – BizTex SMS 5/6 Flame-resistant Disposable Coverall
ST80 – BizTex® SMS 5/6 Flame-resistant Coverall

BizTex FR - flame-resistant limited life clothing fabric

BizTex FR

Flame Retardant SMS fabric is an integrated three layer polypropylene construction similar to BizTex SMS.

This trilaminate constructed fabric, offers a high tensile strength and toughness. It provides a fluid and particulate barrier.

The fabric is treated with a flame-resistant coating which conforms to EN 14116.

This combination of properties has obvious potential importance in any application where chemical splash protection is required but contact with flame or flash fire is a risk.

EN 13034 iconEN13034:2005 (Type 6 and Type PB (6))

Reduce Spray suit (Type 6) and partial body protection items (PB 6). This specifies the minimum requirements for chemical protective clothing offering limited protective performance against liquid chemicals (Type 6 and Type PB 6 equipment. This standard tests for liquid chemical sprays and splashes that are not directional or built up on a suit but there may be a fine mist of droplets in the atmosphere.

EN 1148-5 iconEN1149-5:2008

Electrostatic requirements – surface resistivity (test methods and requirements). This tests for the removal of electrostatic to avoid sparks that could cause fire/hazard to the wearer.

EN 14126 iconEN14126:2003

This specifies the requirements and test methods for limited use protective clothing providing protection against infective agents.
